They work for the citizens of a nation in a sustainable majority agreeable manner promoting policies that assist industry grow and prosper with the complete confidence of the stakeholders ( citizens of a region, community, town, city, nation ) as they are the beneficiaries of all this industry.
No they don't.
The overarching ambitions of traditional banking are most happily aligned with extraction industries because (a) economic feasibility is guaranteed to profit the bank success or fail (b) the industry power is that any government is exceptionally challenged to do all to sustain the extractions to products to distributions that flow as liquid energy around the globe.
Hence profits are released.
Yet, they are not profits when the costs of land loss, species loss, natural resources losses are TOTALLY absolutely
unacceptable.
But. Hey! It's you and me that are playing with multiple social media in a modern world while our own backyard is being trashed, we might not know that communities around the world have been trashed had their assets purloined to be left in penuries than no Scottish person could possibly imagine.
We should want no part of this yet we are attached like babes on a tit to all that is non sustainable, non renewable, un healthy socially, environmentally absolutely destructive at levels we cannot agree with, yet day by day we subscribe to purchasing with our hot grubby extractive valued cash.
It's impossible to jump out, its possible to grow out organically. Scotland has a very unique opportunity to establish a global lead with National Sustainable Environment Banking.
The trick is to move your mind to know that we have renewable sustainable energy potentials at every angle of outlook we might care to make our view and, we have no requirement what so ever to consider nuclear or fossil based energies as our priority requirement. This goes for UK wide and the EC along with much of the developed world.
SUSTAINABLE IDEOLOGY DOES NOT SEEK EXTRACTED PROFITS
IT SEEKS THE PRIORITY OF VALUES THAT SUSTAIN ONGOING DEVELOPMENT FOR THE HUMAN SPECIES IN HARMONY WITH ALL SPECIES. IN BALANCE WITH WHAT IS REQUIRED FROM EXTRACTION INDUSTRIES NOT WHERE THEY CAN DOMINATE FOR THE EASY PROFITS MASSIVE DESTRUCTIONS OF RESOURCES, CITIZENS HAVE NO CHANCE TO PLACE A RECORD OF VALUE UPON.
NATIONAL INTERESTS? WELL SUCH INTERESTS ARE CORE FROM THE INDIVIDUALS OF A NATION. WE FIGHT WARS IN NATIONAL INTERESTS BECAUSE WE ARE A SPECIES OF INTERLLECT AND EQUAL STUPIDIY. NO OTHER SPECIES EVEN CONSIDERS TO EAT IT'S OWN ECREMENT YET WE SELL IT AS VALUE ADDED PRODUCT TO THE CITIZENS OF THE WORLD. DOUSED WITH SUGAR IT TASTES FINE.
SUSTAINABLE IDEOLOGY DOES SEEK VALUES,
CURRENCY IS THE MEDIUM OF EXCHANGE IT IS NOT THE VALUE BEING EXCHANGED.
SOCIAL - ENVIRONMENTAL PRIORITIES
DESCRIBE THE VALUES OF CURRENCY WITH EXACTITUDE.
OUR GLOBAL ECONOMY IS NOT SUSTAINABLE IN ITS PRESENT STATE. WE OPERATE OUR GLOBAL COMMERCIAL EXCHANGES ACCORDING TO THE EXTRACTIONS THAT CAN BE MADE WITH FALSIFIED, ARTICULATED ULTIMATLY, MANIPULATED VALUE EXCHANGES.
HENCE WE ARE IN THE DEEPEST OF CRONIC CASCADES OF TURBULANT TIMES AROUND THE WORLD.
MAKE NO MISTAKE THE CHALLENGES ARE NOT RELIGIONS, ETHNICITIES, TRIBAL DIFFERENCES OR ANY SUCH THING THAT "ISMS" CAN BE MADE WITH.
